Loukia Thomopoulou

Loukia is a ceramicist, an artist, a teacher, a hospitality professional, with years in the computer science, software, and information technology sector. For her, her name represents all the aspects of her personality, her interests, and her multifaceted approach to all her projects. That’s why she prefers to be called just Loukia.
Through her ceramic sculptures Loukia explores her interests in geometry, history, and nature.

Loukia also creates pendant lights that she composes from the remaining clay and pieces of slabs of her designs. The forms and shapes of her work are recognized by the clean cuts or their perfectionist curvatures. It is no coincidence she is a Virgo.
The chemistry and technology of ceramics is her playground.

She is the founder and heart inside Sealed Earth Ceramic Studio and Gallery.
