Angeliki Papadopoulou is an internationally recognized ceramist with extensive creative and teaching experience. During her workshop ‘Wearable Art’ you will have the opportunity to get to know her work and methods, be introduced to the special qualities of porcelain and help you discover the expressive possibilities of the material. Porcelain will become your powerful means of self-expression and contribute to the creation of jewelry as wearable art.
Participants will learn to construct and decorate surfaces to create oval, circular or cylindrical beads that will eventually become playful necklaces, earrings or pins and discover new geometries and volume relationships in composition.
The last two hours of the jewelry workshop will be dedicated to the connection of the porcelain elements with the other materials such as fabric and leather. Techniques will be demonstrated so that after baking, participants can assemble them themselves at home.
A creative inventive seminar full of light and joy.
